This simply elegant Wisconsin summer wedding featured lush greenery, organic tones and a laid back feel. There is something so sweet about keeping things bright white and accenting with earth tones. I will always remember this wedding at the previous Creekside Venue owned by 4 Sisters as one of my favorites.
The wedding itself was no easy feat. Chelsea and Andy were one of the couples that faced postponing their wedding due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We worked so hard to switch the date and find alternate vendors when we had to switch dates. The pandemic coupled with the loss of Chelsea's dad made the planning feel daunting. What I loved about working with Chelsea and Andy was watching them support and love each other through the hurdles.
The white tent on the Creekside property featured chic chandeliers that we highlighted with ivory draping. In the center of the tent we created a greenery chandelier using an old screen door dripping with crystal strands and greenery. The tables were all dressed with floor length white linens and all featured various greenery centerpieces with loads of candles.
For the ceremony we placed a dark stained circle arch in front of the green foliage of the woods. Using leather leaf fern, ruscus, curly willow branches and eucalyptus greenery we created a large, whimsical arrangement. Down the green manicured lawn aisle, gold art deco lanterns will filled with greenery branches and placed next to the guests seating.
The personal touches that the couple decided to add made the wedding even more special- personalized wine bottles with wine made by her mother, a two tiered naked cake made by the bride and bridal jewelry designed by the mother of the bride. It was even better that the bride's son and daughter were such a big part of the wedding ceremony. I loved watching her do a mother/son dance during the reception! Such a special moment to witness!
